Hi
I've been a good boy eating pure paleo very low carb only from salads-
and doing a lot of exercise -
So Hbac1 now 5.7 and my only meds are 1000 mg metformin daily.
I dont need the metformin as it doesnt seem to matter whether I take
it or not however my doctor says it is important to continue to take
it (something about the kidneys)
Can anyone give me some advice please on whether I shud go completely
meds free?
Thanks
David

Low carb diet and no meds reversed my advanced kidney damage in 1998 and
only improvements to ideal levels ever since.

This is coming from a doctor who is proven to have http://WDJW.net/NoVAT as
evident by his hsCRP being now undetectable, his HgbA1c being less than 5.0,
**and** his having maximal insulin sensitivity.

- inflamation markers (CRP) were good in my last blood test -
A detectable CRP is actually a high hsCRP which is **not** good. The only good CRP is a non-detectable hsCRP.
The "hs" in hsCRP is "high sensitivity" which means a much lower
threshold for detection.
dont know about Susan . . . .
Susan should know better by now. Thanks
