Moi's blood pressure monitor has been on the sick list for quite a while. These blood pressure monitors do manage to age over time all by themselves. Nor, do I find them sexy or all that interesting a thing to spend money on, since historically I have always had low blood pressure.

The problem was that the rubberized bulb pump had harden up and started to crack.

Just the other day, Moi was at the goodwill warehouse. And, there it was. A brand new rubberized bulb pump sitting there all by itself in the middle of a bunch of junk. So, I grabbed it. I had been looking for another blood pressure monitor for quite a while.

The new bulb worked. The only difference was that the old one had a button release, while this one uses a screw to release the pressure.

Thus, now that my blood pressure monitor is once again in working condition I have been monitoring my blood pressure, quite often.

Guess what? My blood pressure despite all the critics still seems to be on the low side. And, without running, my pulse rate gets quite low all by itself.

Ergo, ONLY a crazy dork like Taka would think that I have stopped taking vitamin D. My D is still at relatively high levels. Preventing cancer is no joke, after all.

Yeah, Trig has to run 4-miles a day to stay alive. Moi on the other hand, would not have a pulse at all if he ever tried to lower his pulse rate through running.

I've used a SE-310 from Seinex Electronics Ltd for about 10 years. It
hasn't shown any sign of wearing out. It just needs new batteries
about once a year.

My monitor is older than 10-years. Amazingly, the 9-volt battery is still good, which suggests that I had used it not long before I bought my current house in 2010.
